Lassa Fever was firstly discovered in Nigeria in the year 1969. It is caused by Lassa virus, carried by a specie of Rodents called mastomys natalensis, it is also called Natal Multi - Mammate Rat (i.e Rat with multiple breast, probably 8 or above). It is one of the Viral Hearmorrhagic Fever. DESCRIPTION
